CAMP Eligibility

CAMP's Programming is supported by the National Science Foundation and is designed to provide academic and financial support for research, travel to conferences and scientific meetings, and internships. To be eligible for CAMP-UCR, participants must have a declared major in the College of Engineering or the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences. CAMP support is based and selected from among the NSF-stipulated underrepresented students in the STEM fields. CAMP serves UCR students who have declared in their registration (i.e. on GROWL, iLearn, and the Registrar's office) to be Black (African-American), Hispanic, Native American, and non-Filipino-Native Pacific Islander.

Anyone in the STEM fields can participate

How to Join

CAMP participants are required to be engaged in the program on a Yearly-basis. Each new academic year, CAMP-eligible students must fill out an application in order to join.

Simply signing up for the program does not constitute participation. Members must be active, attend all meetings, conferences, etc in order to remain in good standing and be eligible to apply for Financial support.

All applications must be turned in to the CAMP/MHCP Office front desk at Pierce Hall 1114.
